The fifth of May is the Boys' Festival and the national holiday. We celebrate boys to be healthy and for talisman to eat 'Chimaki' made of mochi from rice and sweet bean paste, display 'Koinobori' made of cloth shaped of a carp outside of the house which is very tall about 10 meters high. Some houses also display 'Yoroi-Kabuto' which is an armor for wearing worrier's tools to protect himself against the enemy.
The works ,on the left side two pictures, are so cute and bueatiful. Maybe they were hand-made, weren't they?
As for me, because I have only a sister, I've never seen Koinobori or Yoroikabuto in my house. So very interesting! ;-)

Ayachi-san Thank you for your comment. Yes, the left photo is the handmade by a handicapped person who can not hear. I like this embroidery picture, too. yasu
